Ma,
You have allowed me poetry
With words,
Now,
Will You promote me
By also allowing poetry
In thought, breath, all?
A Different Doctor
Ma,
As a child,
I wanted to become a doctor
To serve the poor,
But I failed.
Yet,
You had mercy
And taught me prayer.
Ma,
Will You turn my prayer
Into beautiful medicine?
